General Buildings

  • Unlock Big Red Door (top and bottom lock).
  • Turn on light in entryway.
  • Unlock inner door and slide the black catch up to take it off the latch.
  • Turn on stairwell lights.
  • Turn ON two switches on yellow wall of staff room.
  • Open doors to stairwell and Exit 3 (push back until they latch open).
  • Turn on Mac for Resova in staff room, check games.
  • Turn on all lights (staff room, hallways, waiting room, stairwells etc).
  • Check all bathrooms for cleanliness.
  • Check emails.
  • Check phones for missed calls (they might be about the games for the day).
  • Make sure waiting rooms are all switched on (pinball machines, fans if necessary) and presentable.
  • Possibly turn the boilers on if its cold. Make a note on the whiteboard if you turn any on.

Game Specific Instructions

  • Save the City
    • Make sure you have the red keys and blue switch is off.
    • Take 6 AA & 6 AAA batteries for the torches and car along with two inspection cameras (the ones that have been on charge!) from kitchen.
    • Turn ON two switches in corner cabinet of first room.
    • Ensure corner cabinet red key is LOCKED.
    • Put batteries in UV torches, ensure they work.
    • Turn ON two switches in study.
    • Put inspection cameras in study, ensure they work.
    • Ensure water bucket is not overflowing.
    • Put 6 AA's in car of final room then flick the switch to turn it on.
    • Turn ON 1 switches under periodic table bench to turn on spotlight for 1907.
    • Turn ON 2 switches behind car cage, ensure gate is shut.
    • Head down stairs and turn on the Mac and audio mixer for headphones.
    • Once Mac is on ensure both screens in game are on.
    • Continue locking up as normal being sure all locks are in the right place and all maglocks are correctly secured. Be sure to remove the red keys from the game and put them on the hook in front of computer.


  • Volatile Laboratories
    • Use white remote, turn everything on. You may need to hold down the ON button or press more than once.
    • Turn ON red switch (power to maglocks).
    • Turn ON two switches outside entrance to game under the coat hooks.
    • Use step ladder to plug in DMX dimmer pack in ceiling of hallway. Ensure the display reads A100.
    • Lift plastic ceiling of room with 9513 safe, only need to lift the corner directly above the CCTV camera to check the second DMX dimmer pack display reads A107.
    • Turn ON all switches on underside of desk near the yellow lockers.
    • Turn ON Apple Mac for game, wait for boot. Open most recent qLab version on Desktop then do game set up cue.
    • Check that all coloured lights are on in hallway of game.
    • Check the UV light next to human skeleton is on.
    • Run the 'Group does conga line' cue and check the lights are flashing in corridor in the correct order (GREEN YELLOW BLUE RED WHITE).Then be sure to run the 'Group opens ammmo crate' cue to stop light sequence, then re-run the game reset cue.
    • Check Resova for number of players in next game, take antidote in to game and finish locking up/resetting as normal being sure all locks are in the right place and all maglocks are correctly secured.


  • The Attic
    • Turn ON on switch in kitchen above battery chargers (left switch NOT right).
    • Turn ON one switch to the right of boiler in kitchen and ensure the iPod is playing the 1931 track along with the FM transmitter being set to 107FM.
    • Take 4 AAA and 4 AA charged batteries from kitchen along with the phone and however many normal torches are needed.
    • Double check battery life and wipe mobile phone then place on 62529 chest.
    • Put batteries in the two lasers and two UV torches and in the radio then ensure all are working before locking away as normal.
    • Ensure fire door is closed.
    • In staff room turn on the silver amplifier with the power button and audio mixer for headphones.
    • Check 107fm radio is working with the small black radio.

  • The Three Bears
    • Turn ON lightswitch outside of the kitchen across from the entrance to the three bears to illuminate the small hallway.
    • Turn ON both lightswitches near entrance.
    • Turn ON one switch to the left of talking tree.
    • Turn ON two switches behind well in garden.
    • Turn ON one switch behind bedside table nearest the windows.
    • Turn ON two switches underneath radio.
    • Turn ON Apple Mac for game above wardrobe.
    • Continue locking up as normal for around 25 seconds until maglocks engage. You can then close and lock the pantry double doors along with wardrobe door.


  • The Heist
    • Take 6 AAA batteries from chargers in staff room for UV torches.
    • Turn ON one switch behind the, now non existent, swing gate in jewelery shop.
    • Turn ON one switch to the left of the large necklace cabinet.
    • Turn ON two switches in jewelery shop staff room.
    • Turn ON 4 switches on top of the necklace mannaquin cabinet.
    • Turn ON one switch outside the planning room on landing to illuminate yellow string lighting for stairwell.
    • Turn ON one switch to left of Mastermind computer.
    • Turn ON one switch to left of Forger station.
    • Turn ON two switches to right of Bomb Experts locker.
    • Turn ON Apple Mac for game in electronics cupboard to left of Bomb Experts locker. The Mac will boot, automatically open qLabs and run the game setup cue.
    • While waiting for Mac to boot continue to lock up as normal.
    • Once ready the yellow string lights around the ceiling of planning room will illuminate and bomb chamber will turn red. ONLY once these things have happened should you press the ON switch on the TV screen.
    • Check mastermind computer is on the login screen, the CCTV is showing the searching for signal screen and THE HEIST logo shows on TV screen before leaving.
    • Insert batteries into two UV torches in jewelry shop and check they work before locking them away. Be sure the small black OPEN safe has good battery life (not beeping when buttons pressed, very quiet beeping or other strange behaviour will give this away).
    • Continue locking up as normal being sure all locks are in the right place and all maglocks are correctly secured.


  • Fiorella's Cave
    • Turn on FOUR switches in electronics room of the cave, these are very clearly marked. DO NOT touch any cables, power strips or wiring other than those four silver mounted wall sockets. The vibration motor (rumble pack) in the lift will turn on, this is normal.
    • Turn ON Apple Mac in electronics cupboard. The Mac will boot, automatically open qLabs and run the game setup cue. You will hear a few beeps from the keypad in the hallway and the rumble pack will stop.
    • Continue locking up as normal being sure all locks are in the right place and all maglocks are correctly secured.
